Your Memories, Preserved for a Lifetime
In our fast-paced digital world, it's easy to forget about the tangible memories we hold dear—the faded photo prints of our parents, the snapshots from our childhood, and the precious moments from generations past. These irreplaceable treasures are often tucked away in a dusty box, vulnerable to a single mishap. A basement flood, a sudden storm, or a devastating fire could erase them in an instant.
I know this feeling personally. I have photos of my grandparents from the early 1900s, and the thought of losing them before I could share them with my children was unbearable. I knew I had to act, and my 20+ years of photography experience gave me the skills to do it right. I meticulously digitized and preserved my family's history, securing those irreplaceable prints on a hard drive and in the cloud. Now, my family's memories are safe, and a part of our story is ready to be passed down.

Ready to Begin?
Do you know where your prints and albums are? Go get them. They are in the basement, that's right, way in the back, under everything else. That's where I found mine. It's going to take some effort, but you can do it. Then look in the closet. Get the step ladder – you know you put them way up on the top shelf, in the back, right where all of our treasured memories end up. Don't forget about the baby book - you added precious photos to there too. Think about it, when was the last time you saw those photos? When was the last time you shared those memories? It's been too long. Don't go through them just yet, at this stage we just one to gather them all in one place.
What Happens Next
Once you have your photos gathered, we'll meet to discuss a plan. We'll decide how to organize your collection—by decade, by person, or by event. We'll sort through the images and select the most important ones to preserve—the ones with people, pets, birthdays, vacations – anything special in your life. Don't worry, we'll skip the blurry photos of flowers and trees.
From there, I'll take your selected photos back to my studio. I'll carefully clean them and remove them from old albums before I begin scanning. I use professional-grade equipment to digitize your photos at a high resolution, and I'll even touch up any minor imperfections. Each image is then tagged with the date and the people or pets in the photo making it easy to find the exact ones you’re looking for.
Once they are scanned and organized, we'll upload them to the cloud service of your choice, like Google Drive or Amazon Photos (did you know you get free photo storage with your Amazon Prime account?). We can also put them on a hard drive, so you'll always have a physical copy you can access, even without an internet connection.
